Rejection

Rejection is tough.  It makes you question whether you were truly good enough, despite all of your efforts and hard work.  An acceptance could mean the world to you, but sometimes they don’t know.  They don’t know how hard you would’ve worked, how much you would’ve cherished the experience, or how much this meant to you.  Every reminder feels like salt added to a wound or the twisting of a dagger in your heart.  It’s tough not to become angry or resentful or those that were accepted, but sometimes you have to let go and believe that everything happens for a reason.  You just have to find your reason.
